NHC has been conducted by Honda on a global scale for more than 20 years and involves around 20,000 Honda Associates at any one time. The historical Quality Circles have been running since 1982 and allow spontaneous working groups to present their ideas and implement projects to improve their work environment.
A NH Circle is a small team of people with a common work interest and shared “respect for the individual”, who meet on a regular basis to discuss a problem, develop and implement solutions and measure results. NH Circle operates on the principle that all work is done through processes and that employee participation in process, problem-solving and decision-making improves the quality of work and the quality of the work environment.
Participants then have the opportunity to meet not only colleagues from their own organization, but also colleagues from other countries, regional and later from all over the world at Regional & World Conventions.

Corporate Social Responsibility in Thailand
Honda’s social contribution activities are centred on four core policies: supporting our youth for the future; protecting the global environment; promoting traffic safety; and addressing local community needs. Based on these policies, the entire Honda Group engages in activities that recognize the value of its bonds with local communities.
The objective of Honda is to aspire to become "a company that society wants to exist,” and will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society, by serving people worldwide with the joy of expanding their life's potential through its social contribution activities.
Family Day in Indonesia
At Honda, an employee is called ‘Associate’. An Associate is one of the most important resources for the sustainability of an organization and the core institution that plays a significant supportive role towards our valuable resource is the ‘Associate’s Family’.
Honda places high importance on our Associates’ families. The “Family Day” event is organized in many countries of the Asia & Oceania region to express sincere thanks and gratitude to the beloved families of our Associates.
Sports Day in Indonesia
Sports Day is a fun event that can build good relationships and enhance harmonization among Associates at Honda.
In the famous words of Erik Spoelstra (American professional basketball coach) -
“It's not just about winning or losing, but to learn about teamwork, learn about sportsmanship, learn about discipline. The value of working together for a common goal. Have the emphasis on fundamentals, not just games.”
Associates’ Day in Australia
Associates’ Day is an annual whole-company event, providing an opportunity for Associates to learn about the key business objectives, product developments and priorities for the coming year. The event promotes Associate engagement, collaboration, learning and celebration of all things Honda!

Individual differences that are demonstrated by an organization’s workforce represent the strength of a company in flexibly responding to the ever-changing business environment.
