About the role
As Honda’s Business Development Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of Honda Representatives across the assigned territory (metro & regional). Through a consultative, value-led approach, you’ll enhance customer experience, strengthen retention, and deliver on Honda’s commercial objectives for sales and aftersales.
To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in Business Development Management or Key Account Management.
How you'll make an impact
- Drive exceptional Customer Experience and Loyalty by surpassing NPS benchmarks and implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen brand affinity and long-term retention
- Achieve sales and aftersales KPIs across processes like enquiries, test drives, maintenance, parts, warranty, and recalls
- Partner with leadership, deliver meaningful insights, and execute targeted action plans that align with business objectives
- Champion business performance by uncovering revenue-driving initiatives and implementing solutions that enhance partner success.
- Ensure Honda Representative standards are upheld, addressing any breaches promptly
- Own customer concerns to resolution and continuously improve operational processes
- Deliver and support training programs to ensure staff competency
What you'll bring to Honda
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent industry experience
- Strong B2B business development expertise with a proven record in relationship management through a value-add approach
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience managing, leading, and coaching a dealer network and customer service professionals
- Sound understanding of Business Financials
- Demonstrated experience in driving great customer experience throughout the whole customer lifecycle
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis
- High proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Experience in the application of TQM tools and processes will be highly regarded
