Job Title : Engineer

Division/ Department : Machining – Aluminium Shop

Reporting Supervisor : Manager 

Minimum Qualifications : Diploma/B. tech in Mechanical Engineering

Preferred/Desired qualification : Good knowledge of Computer.

Specific experience : Alm. and Crank shaft M/cing on CNC Turing, VMC, Grinding & SPM M/Cs.

Overall experience : Min.5~7 years’ Experience in Machine Shop for Diploma.

                                  -Min. 3~5 Years Experience in Machine Shop B. Tech. 

Job Purpose

To produce Alm. & Steel (Automobile) components in Machine shop as per Assembly, CKD & SPD requirement with in SQCDM & improvement activities of Machine Shop as per given targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure day-to-day productivity as per norms.

- Training (OJT) line associates as per schedule.

- ISO 9001 & ISO14001 documentation control & updating.

- Productivity improvement through cycle time/set-up time reduction.

- Cost reduction by process improvement. - Implementation of QC tools & SQC technique in shop.

- Responsible for all inventory controlling in ERP and physically.

- Safety audits & discipline monitoring in the shop. 

- Short-out day-to-day process quality problems.

- Process planning & Improvements.

- SQCD management in the shop.

- Production planning & monitoring.

- Daily & Monthly MIS preparation.

- Rejection & Consumable cost monitoring.

-Daily shop production plan and monitoring according to M/C loading.

-Budget preparation, monitoring and controlling.

-Participation in all motivational activities i.e. Kaizen,5 S Improvement, Quality focus etc.
