Division/ Department: Maintenance & Utility (Utilities) 

Reporting Supervisor: Section Manager 

Minimum Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering

Preferred/Desired qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering 

Specific experience : 4-6 years for Diploma/ 2-4 for Degree

Overall experience: 4-6 years for Diploma/ 2-4 for Degree 

Job Purpose

To ensure trouble free operation of Utility equipments.

Key Responsibilities

- Utility Project related planning and implementation.

- Operation & maintenance of DG, Air Compressor, Air Drier, analysis of B/D, Consumables & spares planning.

- AMC proposal preparation & monitoring.

- Audits & corrective actions related to electrical safety (Earthing, Dehydration, Calibration of HT/ LT equipment) 

- MIS preparation of Power & fuel, water & environment parameters (sampling & monitoring).

- Statutory compliances related to Electrical safety & Environment 

- Supervision of electrical installation work in the plant.

- 100 % Electrical safety checking and compliances as per check sheets and IE Rules 

- 100 % Environmental statutory compliances, Returns, Consents renewals as per schedule

- Implementation of Utility Projects as per schedule

- Summary & Maintenance of earthing pits & lightning arrestor (half-yearly report) 

- Checking & compilation of reports for electrical equipment as per IE rules

- Preparation of Monthly status of statutory compliance (Electricity Act). 

- Energy Saving projects planning & implementation.
