Minimum Qualifications : Diploma in Industrial safety/Safety & Environment from State Board/RLI/CLI

Preferred/Desired qualification : In addition of above Diploma / B-Tech in Mech/Elect/Civil will be preferred.

Specific experience : Experience in fire safety is must and preference from auto industry or auto ancillary.

Overall experience : 4~7 Years 

Job Purpose

Maintaining and upgrading safety in the organization while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, along with identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily and weekly patrolling, ensuring closure of observation points and horizontal deployment. Identify potential hazards in machines, processes, or the workplace with the goal of achieving zero accidents/incidents.

• Plan and deliver safety-related training, including general training, induction programs for new and existing associates, and sessions up to shop-in-charge level. Upgrade existing training modules and develop new ones as required.

• Conduct safety audits and ensure implementation of suitable countermeasures. Fulfill system-related requirements effectively.

• Identify potential risks in machines, processes, and common areas such as utilities, buildings, and offices, and implement mitigation measures. Possess knowledge of risk situations and risk assessment procedures.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; ensure countermeasures are implemented and measure their effectiveness.

• Work independently in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent teamwork skills.

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with the ability to prepare detailed reports.

• Monitor and maintain safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, CO₂ flooding systems, and others.

• Upgrade safety arrangements and systems as needed. 

• Knowledgeable in environmental parameters, including ISO 14001, equipment safety, chemical safety, fire safety, and disaster management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including obtaining licenses and filing reports/returns
